    Here is the booking and treatment process explained…

    1. Booking appointment and completing medical history.

    Upon booking your appointment, your medical form is reviewed by our prescriber to ensure you are the right candidate for anti-wrinkle injections (aka Botox) and it is safe to prescribe. On occasion, a face-to-face consultation may be required.

    2. On the day consultation

    On the day of your appointment, Charlotte takes her time to discuss your desired results, assess your facial muscles and movement, as well as answering any questions you may have.

    3. Anti-wrinkle Treatment Procedure

    The treatment area is cleansed and prepared and the injection sites are carefully planned and recorded.

    An ultra fine needle is used to precisely administer botulinum toxin into the targeted muscles.

    The procedure takes approximately 10 minutes, with minimal discomfort.

    4. Aftercare

    Following your procedure, aftercare will be explained to you to ensure best results. You will also receive detailed aftercare instructions via email for you to refer to.

    You can resume most daily activities immediately after treatment, with full effects developing over 10-14 days.

    5. Follow-Up & Maintenance

    We offer a complimentary review after 2 weeks to make any final tweaks.

  • Discomfort is minimal. Most clients describe the sensation as pain free, with a slight pinch or pressure from the fine needle at most. The procedure is quick, lasting only a few minutes and no anaesthetic is required.

  • No, anti-wrinkle injections require no downtime, making it a convenient treatment for those with busy schedules. You can resume daily activities immediately but should avoid exercise, excessive heat and alcohol for the first 24 hours.

  • Side effects are typically mild and temporary, including:

    • Slight redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site

    • A mild headache or tight sensation in the treated area.

    These effects usually subside within a few hours to a few days.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections are not recommended for:

    • Anyone under the age of 18. ID will be required.

    • Pregnant or breastfeeding women

    • Individuals with neuromuscular disorders (e.g., Myasthenia Gravis)

    • Anyone allergic to eggs, shellfish or metals.

    • Those with active skin infection or scarring at the treatment site

    • Those undergoing chemo or radiotherapy

    • Anyone on blood thinning medication.

  • To ensure the best results:

    On the day

    • Eat a small snack before your appointment to maintain your blood sugar levels.

    • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin if possible.

    24 hours before

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine and blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, St Johns Wort)

    3 days before

    • Avoid waxing. threading in the area to be treated.

    • Plan ahead – no strenuous exercise or heat exposure (hot showers, saunas, or sunbeds) for 24 hours after treatment.

  • Do not:

    • Apply make up for at least an hour post treatment

    • Touch or rub the treated area for at least 4 hours.

    • Avoid bending and lying down for 4 hours after your treatment.

    • Drink alcohol for 12 hours

    • Refrain from intense exercise for 24 hours.

    • Refrain from saunas or sunbathing for 72 hours

    • Avoid facials for 2 weeks

    • Avoid tight headwear following treatment.

    Do

    • Try to use the injected muscles 1-2 hours after treatment such as frowning, squinting, raising your eyebrows as this helps the botulinum toxin relax your muscles.

    • Take painkillers post treatment if needed

    • Be patient for results to begin to show as full results will be seen around 10-14 days later.

  • For optimal, long-lasting results, we recommend Anti-Wrinkle injections (AKA Botox) every 6 months. Over time, some clients find they need fewer treatments as their muscles become conditioned to relax.
